Trafalgar Law nodachi sword prop commission 1:1

Latest prop build the Trafalgar Law nodachi from popular manga series "One Piece". This was a commission for someone who didn't want some lame 3' samurai sword, he wanted it to be bad ass and as this is 6' tall, it ticks that box. I got a few new skills making this one, most notably my routing skills went up a level, I get a +5 modifier on my router now and I also know how to make routing jigs... yippee!

Went for some nice touches here, including that fluffy tsuba, some tsukamaki on the grip etc. If you want to see WIP pics and also it standing next to my fridge for size context, you can view the full write-up at my blog.
