This is a WIP image, there's no detailing yet, this is the base build. This Nerf Nite Finder is based on one of the pistols used in TV series Terra Nova, a series that is known to use Nerf guns as the basis for their weapon props. I decided to give one a try and I'm happy with the result so far.

I'll be putting a full build tutorial on my blog when I get time.

I have no doubt, sadly I have no one to show me how to use all the things I have, including the router and special *holder thing I got for Xmas... still in their boxes :(

when i first saw the terra nova weapons i was in my mind listing all the nerf guns they were using, and started laughing as they were shooting dinos with vortex weapons and nitefinders

When I first saw this I had to do a double take to make sure I was looking at a nerf gun. I think you should move here and work for Hollywood as a prop designer. A lot of your guns are very well made and just they match your goal so well. I had my mom look at this from far away and she was all "so what its an airsoft gun right?" and then I brought her to to the screen for a better look and she was amazed that it was a nerf gun.
Did you use the Recon red tac light for that top part? Or the outer part of it anyways? (not much of a blog reader... ^.^', though I do have yours bookmarked! :D)
Any who cant wait to see it finished, even though I love it as is! :heart:
